OPI GelColor. Random colors- reviews (part 3)

From Left to Right:
Cajun Shrimp- One of my favourite colors. Bright coral. Very nice application and coverage. Must have.

I'm Not Really A Waitress- A winner of countless awards, a part of the Classic OPI polish collection. Deep, shimmery red on a warmer side. Warmer and lighter then Bogota Blackberry.
Application and formula- very nice. Looks good on almost all skin tones. Similar to Shellac Red Baroness. Gelish- Rose Garden.

Brizbane Bronze- This color looks nice on the swatch but hm... doesn't look good on everyone. It's little too sheer, so the free edges show a bit. It's a nice bronze golden shade but on the free edges can look a little... dirty. It does shrink a bit which doesn't help with the free edge showing. Might be good for layering. I have to test this out.

Passion- A light, milky cool pink. This would be my favoutite french pink if the color didn't change after wearing it for a few days. Sadly couple clients reported that the color turned yellow after just couple of days. I still can't figure out what happened. They didn't tan, didn't use self tanners. They don't smoke either. I called OPI Hotline, they never called me back.

Suzy Says Feng Shui- Interesting color but not even 1 client picked it yet.

A Good Man-Darin Is Hard To Find- Must have orange. Period!

  2. Weird, oddly enough this happens in Nubar's Gelicure 'Pink Lily'. They recalled it and are working on revamping the formula so it doesn't turn. The color even turned on my swatch after a period of time.

    1. Thank you for the heads up Melanie!
I actually can't believe that a company as well recognized (and trusted) would release such faulty product. So far I haven't had a client that the Passion didn't turn color. After 2 weeks the color is much more opaque, more dirty white. I would like to see some kind of explanation from OPI.
Actually I would like to see products tested better.
It's impossible to test EACH color in the salon and let models wear EACH color for 2-3 weeks to try out the wear! I think it's the companies' resposibility to release product that works as promised.
